Happy Halloween

Camilla, Madeline, and Eliza all wanted to be witches this year. There's nothing easier than having everyone wear the same thing! I was all for it.
Madeline has always been one for dramatic poses!
Eliza had an earache Friday night, but she enjoyed her candy anyway.
Every witch needs a black cat!

We aren't satisfied with small amounts of candy, so we went to the Halloween parade at the library Friday morning, the ward Halloween party on Friday night, then trick-or-treated the neighborhood on Saturday. We have our 72 hour kits now. Who couldn't survive 3 days on candy?
The Billybob hat was a huge hit. Kevin even won a prize for best costume. Go figure. He sure did look good. Everyone wanted to know where he got it. The answer--the Halloween box we inherited from Mom and Dad!

I decided not to dress up this year, so I was a little surprised when people kept saying things like "You sure are brave to come looking like that." or "I would never go out in public that way." What do you think they meant?

  1. Oh Lindy....oh Lindy...I'm at a loss for words. Such beauty is rare and lovely to behold.

  2. I don't know what they meant. Maybe it was just the fact that you didn't have your house robe on that threw them. ---I would never go out in public without mine.

Those witches and their kitty are too cute for words. Costumes designed by Madeline, right?

  3. I forgot to say how hilarious ol' Billy Bob looks! The curls seem to suit you both so nicely.
