Madeline has always loved decorating cakes. She has entered one in the fair every year. She usually has a plan in mind and goes to work all by herself!
It says "11" and "Madeline." You can see it if you look closely.
We had our Yearsley cousins over for New Year's Eve, so Madeline had a nice audience to watch her open her gifts.
Aunt Janil gave her a rubber band loom which was perfect since we'd just gotten a plethora of rubber bands from Aunt Megan!
Aunt Megan gave her a fashion design studio which was also perfect since designing dresses is another one of Madeline's passions. This came with really cool bendable, shapeable fabric.
Her request from Mom and Dad was a perplexus. It's a marble maze thing inside a ball. It is very tricky!
Eleven little frosting flowers for eleven little candles and eleven sweet years!
Eleven years has gone by so fast with this little darling in my life! I kind of want to freeze her where she is now. It is a little daunting to think of all that can happen in the next eleven years!
