Happy Birthday Tali-Pop!

My kids get their first "friend party" for their birthday at five years old.  Natalia's party was the same day as Madeline's first swim team meet which went longer than expected, so we got home from that 1/2 an hour before the party started!
Camilla and Eliza helped out by giving wagon rides for the first long while.  They were just like the pioneer children (you know, some must push and some must pull).

We'd made a big Twister game on the grass.  Looks like everyone but Alli knows which foot is the right foot.
Twister was a super fun idea and super cute, but I forgot that five year olds don't really know right and left.  This would have been better for an older kid party!

Balloons made up a big portion of the entertainment.  Who knew kids were so happy with something so simple?!

Candy necklaces, a big hit, of course!

 A little help opening gifts. . .

And the table.  Turns out that mom was planning something.  Two June birthday kids get chairs, one gets a table.  They aren't too old for combo gifts yet!

Natalia's birthday was on a Sunday--hence the lovely tea party dresses!

This girl was always a daddy's girl as a baby--her birthday shirt shows she still is!

Kevin pays $1 to any child who chooses German chocolate cake for her birthday.  Daddy's girl again!

I think this was actually a few days after her birthday, but a funny picture, so it gets added in here!  Such a sweet girl we have!

  1. Just killed over in front of the toilet, huh? Love the two fingers soothing her to sleep on the tile floor! What a great birthday party!
