Anna knew her birthday was coming up soon. She woke up on Father's Day, saw presents on the table and asked "Is it my birthday?" She was thrilled when it was finally the day BEFORE her birthday and she got to make her cake! Chocolate with rainbow sprinkles.
Anna got two cute chairs for her birthday--hey, so did Mari! Is her mother planning something?
When I asked Anna what she wanted for her birthday breakfast she said "Chocolate cake and chocolate milk." Chocolate cake is great for breakfast, and I could totally eat it for breakfast and again as dessert that night, but I went for chocolate muffins with chocolate chips and chocolate milk instead. (They were whole wheat.)
Hot dogs for dinner--and if you look closely, you'll notice the scratches clear across her face. She fell in the rose bush on her birthday. So sad!

I love that spicy three year-old! Seriously so cute. Too bad ol' Dad had to hog up all the presents on Father's Day. Sheesh.
