Mullets Aren't Allowed Around Here

Natalia was born with the most hair, and continued to grow more hair faster than any of my children. A few weeks ago I even put it in french braids while she was brushing her teeth. Sure, it only stayed in about 15 minutes, but still. French braids at 1 1/2 years? My child? Camilla and Eliza were little baldies! Madeline wasn't bad, but certainly didn't have this much.

Hence, it was with great sorrow that I realized one day her hair, too, was growing into a mullet. This happened to the other girls, but I thought since she'd grown so much on top as well as in the back that she'd make it okay. However, when I mentioned it to Kevin, he'd noticed it, too, so I knew I had to do something. She had some cute curls as well, so I was just going to do a little trim so I could leave some of those on but get rid of the mullet.

Needless to say, I am not a very good hair-cutter, so it ended up much, much shorter than planned. There isn't a curl left on the sweet head! I went to bed rather sick to my stomach about what I'd done, but once I fixed it up the next day and curled it under it was really cute.

I didn't really get a good view from the back, but you can kind of tell from this side shot that it is very short!

It is also super cute flipped out at the ends. (By the way, this picture is at least a week after the one above it, even though she is wearing the same shirt!)

Cute as it is I am still eager for the curls to grow back in!

She came up to me wearing these teeth (which she found in her sisters room). They looked so funny I thought I'd share with you all!
