Hooray, hooray, hooray! Baby Anna Sarah Yearsley has finally arrived. It's hard to spot her in this picture, but she is in my arms, hiding behind Camilla's head!
She was born June 21 at 2:58 pm. She was awarded the grand champion prize weight for our family 8 lbs 12 oz and 21 inches long. She is soooo sweet!!
Her (and my) labor and delivery were quite easy, plus the epidural worked beautifully (thank goodness; my last two were not great!).
Now we are home with four little mommies (plus this mommy). There has been some rivalry between all of those mommies--who gets to hold her first, longest, whose blanket she will lay on, whose toy she'll look at first, etc. I hope some of the novelty will wear off just a little bit--not too much, though!
We love our little girls, but they are a handful (maybe two handfuls--or four or
six. . .), so it may be a while before we get blogging to be a priority again!
Congratulations Yearsleys! Anna is one lucky girl to have so many big sisters to take care of her!
ReplyDeleteYeah! Congrats! She's a cutie just like her sisters!
ReplyDeleteAwww- how cute! We can't wait to meet her. Hang in there with the fun yet busyness!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. She is so sweet! I think I can imagine all that "mommy" help you are getting. Tell all your girls that Ben really, really misses them. He said they are the best baby entertainers ever!
ReplyDeleteYay! She's so sweet. Andrew said "I didn't know they were having a baby." I showed him the picture a few posts lower on your blog of your big pregnant belly and he said "What's under her shirt?"
ReplyDeleteWe'll be there soon to come visit the new little one!
