Yuba Lake

We took a camping/swimming trip to Yuba Lake in Utah. It was beautiful! As close as you can get to the real live beach without actually getting near the coast.

I think if my sand box had sand like this, I'd even play in it more often. It was awesome!

I don't know what is on her finger. Even though the pose implies "booger," I'm fairly confident it was something else.

Just a casual stroll through the water for this beauty.

Madeline prefers action shots and will seldom stop to pose for the camera.

Anna thought this was waaaaaaaaaaay too good to be true!

Ever cool little Benny boy.

Eliza hoisting Anna into the tent. Anna was less than thrilled to be in there when the door was shut, but okay if the door was open.

Sarah (aka Grandma Mitchell) brought along several fabulous salads as well as some amazing 7 layer bean dip.

Yes, yes. These children are now all officially Junior Yuba Lake Park Rangers. Call them if you experience any trouble. They are certified.

Squirts of whipped cream from Grandma Kathy. Mmmmm.

  1. Oh man, you have the best pictures! That last one is so great!
I'm also laughing out loud at the post below this where you said you made your kids each spend an hour in the dog kennel to understand independence day better. Ha, ha, ha!!!!
