Madeline bought a cupcake decorating book at a yard sale this summer. She made me cupcakes for Mother's Day and these darling "Fat Cat" cupcakes for Mari's birthday.
These pictures make my heart ache. This dear, Great Grandpa Mitchell has just moved away from us. My girls just love and adore him so much. It's a story for another post, but for now we'll just say we were so lucky to get to have him so close to us!
It makes me sad that Mari won't even remember him, but she loves him a lot!
Kevin was the only one not distracted by new toys and able to look at the camera.
Miss Madeline creatively stitched an "M" into this pocket-pillow for Mari.
Camilla gave her a stuffed cat--Mari loves our cats and was thrilled with this!
I can't remember what Eliza gave her, but I'm sure it was awesome.
She took right to her new little chairs. So did her sisters. When you are only a year old, your gifts can be easily claimed by older sisters.
Mari is so thrilled that I am holding her.
Numero uno! If you look closely, you'll notice that Mari still has her new born picture hanging on the wall. At least she has one. I've been pretty lame about updating pictures. Oh well.
