Kevin's mom makes this bunny cake for Easter (except it's usually white with coconut). Eliza wanted it for her birthday last year, and decided to repeat it this year.
She did a great job decorating it! Looks like it could hop right off the pan!
The customary birthday presents and lovingly wrapped-in-grocery-bags "sister gifts."
Grandma Kathy sent this awesome "Tape-fitti" set which was a huge hit and the envy of her older sister.
Some loving notes, probably from Natalia. She and Anna worked for several days making presents for Eliza!
Camilla donated her playtime kitty to deliver the gifts, though it was not actually part of the gift.
Eliza's friend, Ella, was able to come over for the afternoon. She stayed for dinner, cake, and ice cream, too. Friends always make birthdays more special!
We love this girl!
Eliza has always had a special talent for lining things up and arranging things. A while ago she came shopping with me and carefully lined up everything in the cart. Even the checker noticed and commented on what a well arranged cart it was! I often wonder where that talent will take her in life! We'll have to watch through a few more birthdays to find out!
Sweet, sweet girl! Since she's third in line for your kids, she always just seems like one of the "little ones" to me--how can she possibly be seven already?!
ReplyDeleteShe did an amazing cake decorating job, and I'm loving that bottom picture of Natalia sticking her tongue out at the nicely lined up cookies. Funny!
P.S. I still just LOVE the picture of the girls in their pink shirts at the top of the blog. You have to have that one framed and hung on the wall forever. Madeline so sweetly holding the resistant Mari, Camilla comforting the scared Anna (who must have just seen something funny amid the tears?), Natalia checking to see if Anna's going to stop crying, and Eliza sitting nicely just waiting for the picture to be done.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!
Love miss Liza Lou!!!!
