Nine, nine you're so divine!

Camilla is cruising right along in years!  Nearly two hands full of fingers already.  I have a home video of my ninth birthday.  We didn't have a video camera of our own, so I don't have a lot of videos of myself at that age, but it's fun to watch and see what I was like when I was sweet Camilla's age.

Camilla and her darling puppy cake.  My girls all seem to choose one style of cake and repeat it for several years!  This one is definitely a winner!

Eliza found this pretty leaf, covered it in contact paper, and made a card all by herself.  She was so proud of it!  Hopefully Camilla appreciated its sentimental value!

New socks and unmentionables.  Oooh-la-la!

Eliza received a tapefiti kit for her birthday and it was the instant envy of her sisters.  Camilla was happy with her duct tape party kit!  Who knew tape could become so trendy?!

While I was baking, Mari found some spilled sugar on the ground and sampled it.  Lick off the floor "Mmmm!"  Lick again, "Mmmm!"  What you don't know won't hurt you, right?

Camilla's friends Kessa Turpin and Mya Gillette came over for a playdate after school.  Activities included (and were pretty much limited to) playing in the leaves!

Here's to (at least) nine more birthdays at home before my little darling leaves the nest!
