Happy Birthday Natalia!

June birthday girl number three got to celebrate today!  Once again, lots of love from the sisters!  Eliza was even scrambling around at the last minute trying to find a present for her.  She really wanted SOMETHING to give!  Very sweet.

Cute and modern dress from Grandma Yearsley!  Natalia is very excited to wear this on Sunday--Daddy's birthday!

Natalia, Anna, and Mari have each received some magnetic letters.  By now we should have enough of each letter to be able to write a book!  Or at least a pretty decent sentence.

Natalia wanted a doll like this for Christmas--until she changed her mind and wanted an electric train.  She was quite in love with little "Jenny" today, though.  She also used her birthday money from Grandma Kathy and Great Grandpa Mitchell to buy a horse for Jenny.

One item on the girls' summer fun list this year was horseback riding.  Luckily we have a very kind soul in our ward, Ron Bench, who was happy to oblige us.  It made a fun day for Natalia!

She looks comfortable as can be in a saddle, doesn't she!?

Climbing the gate was a favorite activity in between rides.

Natalia really wanted to take some pictures.  This is what a horse looks like from a 6 year old's point of view!  Quite a large creature!

Some time during her picture taking, Natalia must have smeared up the camera lens, because most of the next few pictures are slightly clouded!

Natalia usually has cake for her birthday, but never eats it.  I convinced her to stick with something she does like--ice cream sundaes!

Luckily she got these all blown out in just a breath or two so they didn't melt all the ice cream!

Yep, six.  It takes more than one hand to show her age now!  Oh, my little girl is getting so BIG!!

  1. Love, love these pictures--that last one makes her look so grown up. I think she makes a fantastic photographer, btw, cloudy lens and all.
